Boston: Part Three

We actually woke up on time today! Instead of missing our alarm and waking up four hours late, we each set an alarm to 8:45, and got out by 10 this morning! First stop, Harvard.

Red line subway!

A wonderful German man performing in the subway.

Funny thing is... we only stayed on the campus for ten minutes. We then headed back on the red line towards the Park Street stop, and walked along the Freedom Trail until stopping in a small pub for lunch.

Granary Burying Ground - holds the tomb of Paul Revere, Mother Goose, Ben Franklin's parents, and many more historical figures.
Massachusetts State House on the Freedom Trail
The absolutely remarkable Holocaust memorial in downtown Boston.
After an unsuccessful search for Boston's famous lobster rolls, we ended up eating a wonderful dinner at Stephi's on Tremont. My mother and I split four cheese macaroni with bacon, spinach and arugula salad, and rosemary french fries, while Ruby ordered New England seared cod with bacon corn chowder and roasted potatoes.

What a beautiful day! Off to Providence tomorrow!
